We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Campo Base! The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were spacious. The breakfast spread was incredible, with a wide variety of delicious options. We really appreciated the packed snacks they provided for our early morning tours. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, especially Camila. We loved the cozy atmosphere of the small hostel, and the well-equipped kitchen saved us money on eating out. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the town center and right near the bus station. we highly recommend this hostel for a wonderful stay in San Pedro de Atacama.

Our stay at Hostal Campo Base was exceptional. The facilities were beautiful, comfortable, and well-maintained. We loved the common areas where we could meet fellow travelers. The staff, particularly Rodrigo and Hugo, were very friendly and helped us arrange tours to all the main sights. The breakfast was excellent, with the option of pancakes or omelettes, and they even packed us a snack for our early tour. Having free drinking water available saved us from buying bottled water every day. The kitchen was great and we felt welcome to use it and store our food. The quiet time in the evening allowed us to rest well for our adventures the next day.

There were a few minor drawbacks, such as smoking being allowed in the common outside areas, which wasn't ideal for non-smokers like us. However, we knew this was a common practice in many accommodation facilities in Chile.
